After a great weekend in lower austria at the “Night of Rock” Festival, I’m back in Vienna.
Was a great experience, learned a lot while shooting overall 13 different bands from austria and had a lot of fun in the breaks!
After the 9th band, the mirror of my 5D detached, (http://www.canon.de/Support/Consumer_Products/products/cameras/Digital_SLR/EOS_5D.aspx?faqtcmuri=tcm:83-623626&page=1&type=important) so I had to shoot the rest with my 40D…
Well, now I have to sort and clear out the album… will be back soon

Well, as I’m going to shoot some bands on a festival the next two days and have to get up pretty early, I’ve decided to pack all the equipment I need before I go to bed:
Canon EOS 5D with the Blackrapid RS-5 & Battery Grip – Main Camera
Canon EOS 40D & Battery Grip – as a Backup Cam, to be on the safe side
EF 85mm 1.8
EF 50mm 1.4
EFS 17-85mm – don’t know if I’ll need it, maybe for shooting the audience during the day with my 40D..
Canon Speedlite 430EX
4x fully charged batteries
8x fully charged AA batteries
Battery charging stuff
a total of 28GB space on CF Memory Cards
and of course camera&lens cleaning equipment
